| Chit Chat With Allu Arjun Interview |
 |
Allu Arjun is a heartthrob to the young girls and a stylish icon to the
guys. He made his entry with ‘Gangotri’ and since then, he never looked
back. From ‘Gangotri’ till ‘Parugu’ , all his movies were commercial
hits. His next movie Arya-2 is scheduled to release on 27th December
and on this occasion, he has given an exclusive interview for Telugucinemascreen.
How is Arya-2?
“Firstly
my character and story in this film are completely different from Arya.
If Arya is in orange version this will be in blue version. Sukumar
created Arya-2 story out of his love for Arya.”
How is your character in Arya-2?
“If
my character in Arya was to confuse others, in Arya-2 I myself am a
confused person entertaining the audience with my confusion. I am
playing the role of an employee who wants every one around him to be
happy and can do anything for their happiness. Inspite of being a
confused one, the character still has clarity.”
What was your reaction on hearing the script from Sukmar?
I
loved the way he proposed the script to me. Infact it was quite
different. He told me the story in both classy and commercial versions
and asked me to choose 1version to make the film as I wish to. But then
I suggested to make a classy film in all commercial aspects to make
Arya-2 a blockbuster.”
Rumours are high on Devi Sri Prasad composing great music only to you?
“Actually
I requested Devi to give a youthful mass song like the one ‘Aa Ante
Amalapuram’ from Arya and that is how Devi composed ‘Ringa Ringa’ for
Arya-2. The credit goes to Sukumar as he knows, how to get Devi compose
good music.”
How is it that your films are a hit in Malayali industry?
“Ha….that’s
a surprise to me too! I am clueless on Malayali people liking my
flicks. But that’s really a good thing to me. I was even told that
Arya-2’s dubbing rights were sold for a record price. Recently I was at
Kerela to shoot few scenes of my upcoming film ‘Varudu, but because of
the huge fans present there we had to comeback without shooting.”
Basically, you are known as a star who gives one film for an year? How about doing Arya-2, Vedam and Varudu back-to-back?
I
was never planned to do a single film pr year or 3 films per year. I
just happened. I have commited to Gunashekar’s ‘Varudu’ on Arya-2’s
completion and then on listening to ‘Vedam’s’ script through Krish, I
accepted to act in his film. Surprisingly, I will be seen on the screen
for a very short period. I have made an attempt to come out of the satr
‘Vedam’ is a multistarrer flick and you have accepted the projecting inspite of your stardom setting a new trend through this?
“I’d
always wanted to be a trend setter and I have proved this by my
sixpack, stylish dressing sense, getting mingled with common people.
Accepting Vedam is one such attempt.
Can you tell us something about ‘Varudu’?
‘Varudu’ is an entertainment film that will show a new dimension of direction by ‘Gunashekar’. Coming to my personal life I am still waiting for a perfect bride.”
